Greeting

T:Today well have 2 groups.Group1 and 2.Look,whats this?Its a red packet.When youre right,you can get one for your group.Are you clear?Now,lets go.

 

Step 1 Lead in

1.Game:Say the color

T:First,I have a game for you,its called Say the color.Look at the screen,heres a box!There are so many things in the box.When you see them,please say their colors loudly.Ready?Go!

T:Well done,boys and girls!Now the last one,whats this?Its a red bowknot.Where is it?Its on my head!You know them so well!One point to each group!

2.Lets think.

T:What else are red in our life?

S:apple national flag

T:Look at here!Red packet is also red!When will we get them?Yes,on New Years Day.How do we greet on that day?Well say:...

S:Happy new year!

T:Yes,so today well learn unit 8 Happy New Year.

3.Learn the words

T:I have some gifts for you.Can you guess whats in my box?Whats this?

S1:Its a doll.

T:Maybe.Lets see.Yes,youre right.Its a doll.(teach doll)

T:Another one.Whats that in my box?

S2:Its a car.

T:A car?Look,sorry,its a ball.(teach ball)

Compare the two sentences: Whats this? Whats that?

T: Look at this two sentences. Whats the difference between them?

Summary: 近处的单个物体用 Whats this(这个)?提问。

         远处的单个物体用 Whats that(那个)?提问。

         回答都用Its a/an...

T:The last one,I will give you some clues.
