How do you come to school?教学设计

Teaching aims:

Knowledge aims: 

  Students can know the meaning of ‘ bus, plane, taxi, metro’ and pronounce them correctly.

  Students can use the key structures ‘Where do you live? I live…’ ‘How do you come to school? I come to school…’ to talk with each other.

Ability aim:   Students’ abiliti es of scanning the story and getting key information according to the tasks will be improved.

Emotional aim:  Students can understand how to choose the proper way of going to school according to the reality of their own.

Students can use correct sentence structures to talk about their addresses and ways of going to school with each other.

 

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Lead-in

1、Enjoy a song: The wheels on the bus and guess how the students come to their school.

2、Free talk: self-introduction

T: I live near school. I often go to school on foot. (Teach: on foot)

I live far from the Ocean Park. So I go to the Ocean Park by car. (Teach: far from, by car)

How about you? Where do you live? Do you live near school? (work in class)

   Teach the key structureHow do you come to school?’‘I come to school…

(设计意图:运用多媒体资源,歌曲热身,活跃课堂氛围,拉近师生距离,并运用学生的生活资源自然地引入本课的话题讨论核心‘How do you come to school?‘I come to school…’

 

Step 2 Presentation

1THow do you come to school? (展示句型结构,揭题,学生朗读课题)

Listen and guess: What transportation is it?

分别听bus, plane, taxi, metro这些交通工具的声音,教单词。

2、Show the pictures. Who are talking in the picture? Yang Ling, Su Hai, Mike and Liu Tao

T: Listen to the tape for the first time. Can you guess what are they talking about

3、Listen to the tape for the second time and choose.

   Copy the new words 3 times.
